Because we acknowledge (with disdain) that in many cultures being Brown hasn't been historically celebrated, our ultimate goal and mission is to educate, uplift and enlighten people around the world about the beauty of the world’s different Brown Girl cultures. It’s time for Brown Girls to take a stand and be proud of the skin they’re in, and of who they are and who they were born to be. It’s perfectly okay to be Brainy, and Gutsy, and Artsy, and Blessed. In fact, Brown Girls everywhere are wearing it on their chests. ;-)
